Stephen Rutterford Director

Stephen Rutterford is a British born, Emmy nominated Film Director based in Brooklyn, NY. He is the Writer and Director of “Finding Ophelia”, a feature film Starring Jimmy Levar and Christina Chu, which snagged 30+ awards including The Grand Winner at Cannes World International Film Festival. He has directed music videos for Black Asteroid, Hana, Fashawn and The IZM. Rutterford has a seasoned creative background in Advertising, as a previously Ad Agency owner, Executive Creative Director and Global Head of Art, working on over 160 brands including; Levi’s, New Era, Xbox, T-mobile, Johnnie Walker and Rémy Martin. Collaborations include artists Pharrell Williams, Talib Kweli, Shepard Fairey and Michel Gondry. Rutterford‘s work can be described as cinematic, surreal, edgy and elegant.
